1978 Toyota Chinook on 1992 Chassis

1978 Toyota Chinook on 1992 Chassis

1978 Chinook "Omega" RV on a 1992 Toyota Pickup 1-ton Chassis (5600 GVWR, 2100 payload).  5-lug, original HD rear axle (no aftermarket "dually").  V6 engine. PS, PB. Manual 5-speed transmission. No AC ever installed.  Brakes, shocks and exhaust replaced in 2016. Engine head gasket replaced on Toyota Recall at 143,801 miles (Feb 2003). Though it hasn’t been on the road since 2017, it has been started and run periodically each season.  Mileage on odometer is true (166,396).  The engine recently started missing, misfiring, and running rough.  Not sure why, but it starts, runs, drives and idles; though engine runs very rough.  I think it may result from chipmunk issues. The parking brake cable is not working - maybe rusty (I mention as the parking brake is important on a manual transmission). RV portion: Chinook brand, "Omega" model. Overall length, 17’, bumper-to-bumper.  This is the side-door, stand-up model (not pop-up).  All-fiberglass shell.  Original power converter, furnace and 3-burner cook-top.  The original LP refrigerator was missing and an "aftermarket" Igloo 12V cooler was in it when I got it. The cooler will run on the RV battery, or via the onboard power converter. Lots of big windows, plus a roof window above the cab. Notes: 1) This is a project RV. 2) The engine will need a tune-up or cleaning. It is not highway ready, though can be shuttled around or driven onto a trailer on its own accord. 3) The rocker panels are rusty and older repairs to them are failing. 4) The large, side, sliding windows are missing their original vinyl channels and rattle; and may leak in heavy rain. All the windows, except rear, may need resealing as the original seals are 45+ years old. The rear window was resealed recently. 5) It comes with two, horizontal LP tanks (one original, one new/unused) that are not installed as the under-chassis mount was removed due to rust. The regulator and gas lines are still in place. 6) The original mag wheels (14"), are included (no tires). The currently installed wheels and tires are 15" and ST rated tires. 7) I have lots of the original literature and user manuals, with descriptions of what came "vintage". 1989 Toyota Sunrader V-6

1989 Toyota Sunrader V-6

$2

On eBay Auction Ends 5/31@6:30PM PST 1989 Toyota Sunrader Classics V-6, Automatic, 15-18 MPG 82,040 Original Low Miles! The Sunrader Classic runs and Handles Great! Excellent Condition Inside and Out! It’s as easy to drive as a car! This is a “Rare” 1989 Toyota Sunrader Classics Motorhome (they stopped making them in 1992) that is in excellent condition, and has only 82K miles on its long-lasting Toyota V6 engine. Along the line of Toyota RV’s, the Sunrader is highly sought after and considered to be the top of the line in luxury motorhomes due to the superior due to the superior construction, quality and versatility. Sunrader Classics, manufacturer of quality motorhomes, recognized the need of people who wanted to experience “RVing” without buying a bus sized vehicle, yet with the comfort of a fully self-contained motorhome. The Sunrader, measuring 21’ feet from bumper to bumper, is large enough for comfort yet will fit nicely into a standard parking spot. The Sunrader is perfect for a day at the beach, a weekend at the campground or touring the USA, Canada and Mexico from east to west! The Sunrader is highly sought after because it has a patented all fiberglass molded shell body with strong aluminum and steel framing underneath which is unlike any other Toyota motorhome. This makes for a lighter load and no roof or corner seams to leak, so common in other motorhomes. Powered by the Toyota V-6 fuel injected engine, on a true one-ton chassis, it gets awesome gas mileage and, with regular maintenance, is basically trouble free. With gas prices continuing to soar, this economical, yet roomy, motor coach is a great way to go. The Toyota engine has plenty of power to pass and pull the hills and cruises nicely on the highway at 65 mph. I just had engine tuned up this year with new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The Sunrader is equipped is also equipped with Overdrive for extra fuel savings. The Sunrader has Ride-Rite air bags with automatic controls in the cab so you can adjust the pressure as needs for a smooth ride and leveling when camped. The Motorhome is also had an easy roll out Freedom awning for sunshade and to keep your feet dry on rainy days. Let’s take a tour! Starting at the front of the coach, the Sunrader has two roomy seats in the cab, which features ice cold A/C, a tilt steering wheel for driving comfort, and cruise control for long trips. It also has a new Sony 4” Bluetooth Stereo, USB Plug-n-Play, Hands-free phone speaker and front camera and rear back-up camera, with speakers in front and back of the coach for an awesome surround sound. Above the cab is a comfortable double bed. The cab has removeable piece in the bed for easy access to the rear of the coach without having to get out of the RV. Moving to the rear of the coach, just behind the driver’s seat is a full-sized couch that converts into a bed that sleeps one adult. Opposite the couch is dinette for two with a large window for viewing while traveling or when camped. The blinds have all been updated and are the easy roll up honey comb style. The table has a cleverly hidden slide out storage compartment underneath it for small items. Under the dinette seat is a pull-out drawer and below that are two more deep storage compartments. The dinette table breaks down and converts space into another bed for one. The Sunrader has matching, stylish upholstery throughout the RV that is great condition with no excessive wear showing. Above the living room area are roomy storage compartments made of molded fiberglass, conveniently located to store all of your necessities out of the way, but just within an arms reach. There are also lots of windows to take in those great views while touring or camped on a mountaintop. Further back, is a compact “galley” with a four burner Wedgwood range, oven, overhead fan and a double stainless-steel sink. There is a hidden pantry that slides out in the lower cupboard. Opposite that is a set of four slide out drawers for cutlery and other items. Across from the stove is a 3 Way – propane, electric, 12-Volt battery powered - Dometic refrigerator with freezer. The freezer gets cold enough to make ice. On top of the fridge is a nook with stand to set your TV, with a regular electrical outlet and also has a 12-Volt plug-in. The thermostat for the heat is brand new and the coach has a quiet running heater with three vents to keep it warm and toasty on those cold mornings. At the rear of the coach is the bathroom, which is comprised of a shower, toilet, sink, mirrored compartment above and closet for hanging clothes and extra storage. The Sunrader has a surround fiberglass shower enclosure, just like are in the newer, more expensive RV’s. Most Toyota RV’s have wallpaper inside the showers, instead of the fiberglass enclosure, that makes for dry rot problems down the road. The fiberglass shower enclosure keeps the water in without leaking. The Sunrader is equipped with a deep cycle marine battery that runs all of the coach lights, water pump and fan. So, you can park wherever you want without the need to plug in, and still have all the power needed for comfort. However, when plug in’s are available, the Sunrader has full hook up capacity with a built-in power converter. There is no generator onboard, but has two outside storage compartments if you wanted to add one later. Vehicle Condition This is a 1989 model year Toyota Sunrader Classics motorhome that is built Toyota Chassis. Overall, this motorhome is in excellent condition for its age, it is super clean, and has been well maintained. It would be hard to find a nicer Sunrader in this condition. I would give it as 7 out of 10. The reason I give it a 7 is that I’m picky. It’s not in drive it off the showroom floor condition, it has been used and loved, but keep in mind that it is 37 years old. It does have some minor cosmetic dings here and there, but nothing major and as you can see from the pics, it still shows amazingly well. These Sunraders are highly sought after and have a cult following because they are unique RV’s with the molded, light weight, fiberglass shell and compact style. This is really a collectors item that you can use and have fun in. And, if you take care of it, it will maintain and likely increase in value over time. The Sunrader only has 82K original low miles and it runs great. The transmission shifts smoothly. Last fall we took it on a thousand-mile road trip through the mountains and it preformed well. If you have never owned a Toyota, you are in for a treat. I have owned several Toyota’s and they are great on gas, virtually problem free and with regular maintenance practically run forever! Please keep in mind you are bidding on a used RV, not a brand new motorhome, so please expect some normal wear and usage. As you can see in the pictures the paint is in good condition as is the fiberglass body. The decal striping is original and looks good, but there is some sun fading, cracking and wear showing. This is a smoke and pet free motorhome with no noticeable odors. The roof does not leak. I recently sealed the front and rear windows with clear silicone as preventative maintenance. The tires new with less than 5K on them. Everything appears to be in working order – the water pump, lights, fridge, stove, coach heater all work great. Sunrader's Features and Options Cab & Chassis V-6, EFI Fuel-Injected Toyota Engine Automatic Transmission Unitized Reinforced Fiberglass Construction Full Floating Rear End 13 Gallon Gas Tank Cab and Coach A/C Tilt Wheel w/Power Steering New Sony Stereo 4” Display w/ Surround Sound Blue tooth, USB Plug-n-Play, Hands-free Phone 1 Ton Chassis (6 lug nuts all around) Power Brakes Spare Tire and Wheel Slide Out Entrance Step Original Locking Storage Pod on Back Adjustable Rear Air Bags Freedom Awning Updated Honey Comb Easy Roll UP Blinds New Tires 5K Miles Recent Tune-Up, New NGK Platinum Plugs, Wires, Cap and Rotor. 1994 Toyota Dolphin 900 Motorhome

1994 Toyota Dolphin 900 Motorhome

$26,000

I recently purchased this motorhome through this website, but due to unforeseen health issues I need to sell. 1994 Toyota Dolphin 900 Personal Story: After two years searching high and low for the “ideal” Toyota Dolphin, I found it in Southern Arizona in August of 2023. There have only been a few owners, each willing to spend money to keep it in excellent condition throughout its life in California and Arizona. This is the rare (and almost unicornish) example of a Toyota RV with no water damage, mostly original vintage interior, lovingly cared for, and rarely used. Over $15,000 in upgrades and proactive repairs (Receipts to prove it!). Much of the work since 2023 has been done by Toyota on the chassis with the coach work done by a meticulous and highly respected technician here in Maricopa, Arizona where the RV is kept. Original manuals to both the coach and the Toyota pickup are available. Helpful accessories also available for sale should you need it at a discounted rate. I have done all the work so you don’t have to. This 1994 Toyota Dolphin 900 is the very last year Toyota sold their RV’s in the United States. So, it is rare in that respect as well. 1991 Toyota Winnebago Micro Warrior

1991 Toyota Winnebago Micro Warrior

$14,500$12,500

I am selling a nice and rare 1991 Toyota Winnebago Micro Warrior 320RB with 4 speed automatic transmission, V6 VZE engine, 6 lugs 1-ton rear axle with 155000 miles. I purchased it in 2021 in New Mexico where it has always been. It is a very solid vehicle, well-equipped, straight floor and excellent chassis, good roof condition, aluminium roof and aluminium full sheet exterior wall, basically no rust anywhere. Cruise control, overdrive and ECT electronic control transmission all working well. Sleep 4 persons and seat belts for 4 persons. I am the third owner, and although I am Canadian, it is registered under my name in Arizona and has been stored in Las Vegas for the past 10 months. This micro-Warrior is ready to hit the road. I have travel all over USA and Mexico with it in the last 5 years with pleaser getting around 16 mi/gal. Since 2021, I have invested approximately $10,000 USD in improvements and repairs, including: - Installation in Tucson AZ of 2 new reconditioned engine heads and head gasket set - Timing belt and water pump kit - 2 heavy duty Monroe front shock - Pneumatic rear suspension air bag install for smoother drive - Radiator, thermostat, and hoses - Steering rod, idler arm and alignment - Starter alternator wires, distributor cap, rotor, and spark plugs - new batteries for motor and motorhome - Brake master cylinder - Front and rear brake pads - Power steering pump and steering gearbox _Propane inlet valve and regulator - Oxygen sensor and charcoal filter - All oils (engine, brakes, transmission, differential, power steering) have been drained and replaced. - The entire front cab of the truck was repainted by a professional in 2024 - New Dometic RM8501 refrigerator (propane and 120v/12v electric) install in 2024 - 150-watt solar panel kit and 400-watt inverter - New toilet and replaced both roof fans - Installed vinyl floating floor. The motorhome is equipped with an 18-gallon freshwater tank, 14-gallon gray water tank, and 14-gallon black water tank. I am leaving behind several hundred dollars worth of mechanical spare parts, tools, kitchen and camping accessories. I am selling it with regret because I no longer have plans to travel back to the USA. There was once a water infiltration near the front bed on the driver’s side that required a repair. I cleaned, repair and sealed the joint. I added a new steal support and a new plywood to reinforce the entire bed base. The current tires (185R14C) are 7 years old with 50% tread wear. I have never had a spare tire for this vehicle. The interior is in relatively good condition for a 35-year-old vehicle. Unfortunately, I do not have many pictures of the inside at the moment The air conditioning in the motorhome part works well, but not in the front cab. No generator i use the space as a tool storage. All accessories (oven, stove, water heater, shower, refrigerator, water pump) work well except for the propane furnace, which requires an additional step to start correctly. Th air flow sensor of the furnace must be adjusted or replace. The rear ladder could use one or two additional supports to make it sturdier. I am currently in Montreal, Canada, and I plan to go to Las Vegas in the second part of May 2026 to finalize the transaction with a buyer. Clear Arizona title. Under certain conditions delivery elsewhere in USA may be possible to consider. Email me if you have any questions or are interested in the motorhome.

Troutmobile

Troutmobile

$28,000

Troutmobile - 1976 Toyota Chinook - 22R upgrade (originally came with 20R) - regularly serviced - Holley Sniper Fuel Injection System Upgrade with Digital Display - Rebuilt Automatic Transmission - Headman Header Upgrade - Offenhauser Intake - Electric Fan Upgrade - Firestone Air Ride Rear Bag setup - Propane Fridge - 1000 BTU propane Heater - Sink with water tank - Roof Racks for Kayaks or drift boat Recent Maintenance : Ball joints, u-joints, shocks, wheel bearings, rotors, calipers and pads. All steering from gearbox to wheels has been replaced or upgraded. Only completely fiberglassed roof we have ever seen on a 70's Toyota Chinook (we own several). Unlike the pop tops, which have issues with water leaking inside and sagging roofs. Over the 10 years we have owned the Troutmobile, no leaking or water issues. We have only put kayaks on the roof racks. The original owner would put a drift boat on top. Being able to bring water crafts on your next adventure, adds a whole layer of fun. Roof Racks are also removable as well. The heater warms up the space in no time. Removable propane stove top for options, since we like to cook outside a lot. Driven around Yellowstone and Teton area mostly the last ten years. California owned prior. One of the few Rvs small enough to be able to drive the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park. All the comforts with the ability to park in the front row! With the Holley Sniper Fuel Injection setup it makes cruising in the mountains a breeze. Don't have to worry about changing injectors for elevation or adjusting your carbs like old Toyotas do. Good frame, no rotting. Still have original "Fooly Dually" wheels if interested. Only thing you might want to upgrade is the stereo but we love old tapes and love the ability to play them. Check out our instagram @thevintagervrental

Ultra Rare 1981 Toyota Rockwood Motorhome w/ < 3500 Org Miles

Ultra Rare 1981 Toyota Rockwood Motorhome w/ < 3500 Org Miles

$9,500$8,500

This is an ultra rare 1981 Toyota Rockwood model. Previously only thought to have been made on the Nissan chassis in the early 80s. Quick History on this RV: In the early 80s two neighbors in Montana went into retirement together. One bought a Sunrader and the other this Rockwood. The owner of the this Rockwood went on one or two trips a year in it and passed away in 1986 leaving it to his wife. She then sold it to the Sunrader neighbor where it sat behind his shop until he died sometime in the early 2000's. After that the Rockwood was left to his son who left it behind the home shop until 2024 when a friend/acquaintance from Pocatello did some work on his diesel truck and accepted the Rockwood as payment for his skills and services. He brought it back to Pocatello and began restoration including cleaning the tank in 2024 and resealing the roof in 2025. The interior renovation was left unfinished and because he had too many other projects taking priority he decided to list it up for sale. The current owner ended up trading some services and another truck for the rig in the hopes of making some cool memories and taking trips with his girlfriend. Unfortunately the current owner's girlfriend does not have interest in the motorhome and she particularly does not like it because its a manual transmission. This 1981 Toyota Rockwood is now being offered for sale and facilitated by Toyota RV For Sale as a Full Service Listing. What makes this rig special: -One of the only Toyota Chassis Rockwood models spotted in the last 10 years listed for sale. This was a limited run and typically found on the Nissan/Datsun platform. Later "Rockwood" models produced in the early 90s were made by Rockwood Inc. out of Goshen, Indiana and featured a different layout. These also were very rare. -From the backstory and the state of the engine, the odometer reading of 3,389 is believed to be original miles! It has also been confirmed by a local mechanic that all the major engine components are original further backing this assertion. The Positives: -Runs Great (See startup clip at end of the gallery) -Drives Great -AC Blows Gold -Heater Works -New Roof -No Leaks -Has newer inverter from a 5th wheel -Fridge, Heater, Water Pump all work -Fresh Oil Change in 2025 -New Spark Plugs -Fuel Pump & Voltage Regulator Installed Known Issues: -Pre '86 these motorhomes were made on the 5 lug rear axle. These were recalled as they cannot handle the weight of a MH when loaded. For intensive use and safety a 6-lug swap would be recommended. -The tires still have acceptable tread and hold air but are older and will likely need to be replaced for intensive use (will get date codes soon) -This was a low use motorhome and the interior is in very good shape for its age. It is however unfinished Final Thoughts: This Rockwood would make a great running project for an enthusiast looking for a very rare model with low original miles. Mechanically it is sound and there is plenty of opportunity to take this interior and customize it to the new owner's desires. We are working very close with the owner to facilitate the marketing and sale of this vehicle. As part of the sale we are also providing secure funds transfer via escrow as well as title transfer. Shipping can also be facilitated – should the need for that arise. You can contact us by emailing info@toyotarvforsale.com or by calling/texting 503-862-8541. Feel free to send us your questions or offers below as well.

1993 Winnebago Warrior in Oxnard, CA

1993 Winnebago Warrior in Oxnard, CA

$12,500

This was a recent purchase for me and my family and it is back on the market! We only took this Toyota on a handful of local trips and it worked flawlessly. Engine starts right up and all appliances work, except generator (most these generators never lasted long). 1993 Toyota Winnebago Warrior all original California vehicle – 13 MPG About 77,000 miles, so plenty of life! The layout on this RV is the most popular amongst Toyota RVs. Layout includes: cab over bed, dinette w/ bed, indoor and outdoor shower, newer toilet, gas and electric fridge and freezer. Refrigerator works great and gets ice cold! Brand new tires w/ receipt! Interior in good condition, no cracks on the dash, seats always covered. Some wear and tear, but nothing major. Fits in regular parking spot. Bluetooth stereo w/ upgraded 4Runner speakers. A/C blasts freezing cold & gas heater works. Recently hooked up at campsite and it was enjoyable hanging out inside with cold air while it was scorching hot outside. Replaced: Ball joint suspension/ upgraded chrome bumper and grill, tires are new/brakes good/ newer engine battery/ house batteries a few years ago/ vinyl flooring/ newer toilet/ new cabin water pump/ LED bulbs throughout/ new mirrors Bad: There was water damage with the previous owner which is very common with these 30 year old motorhomes. Ugly patch job, but does the trick. Previous owner replaced the cabover bed wood support beam with steal and new plywood. Generator might need a tune to work but not entirely sure. Roof on AC has tape and chipped, some tape on ceiling but not leaks! This truly is a weekend warrior with plenty of life left. We got lots of compliments from people and often Toyota RV fanatics love the interior. These are becoming very rare in this condition.

1985 Dolphin in Arvada, CO

1985 Dolphin in Arvada, CO

$4,000

1985 Toyota Dolphin 79k miles 22RE motor Dual bearing 1 ton rear axle New tires less than 1k miles on them New clutch 4 speed standard transmission California vehicle with minimal rust This was a project I started several years ago. My plan was for an all-original exterior and a completely modern interior. I removed all of the siding on both sides and hammered out the majority of the dents. Rebuilt all water damaged framing. For the studs I used standard 1×2 pine but anywhere the framing was larger (under windows, rear quarter panels, etc.) I used a very expensive light weight 3/4″ plywood from a manufacturer called Joubert. I also covered both sides with Ty-Vek house wrap prior to reinstalling the aluminum siding. The roof had been caved in a little from the previous owner. I replaced all of the rafters and doubled them up around the emergency hatch. I then covered the entire roof with a TPO membrane for superior water protection. The TPO is still black, would recommend painting it white (do NOT use an acrylic paint). I have all of the appliances except for the three-way fridge. It was the only part I had not gotten around to purchasing, but I replaced the panels around it for a fridge of the exact same size. All of the copper gas line is still in place. I have every vent cover, water line trim, vent trim, shower trim, etc. I used to work for an experiential marketing company and have acquired several either brand new or barely used parts as well. (we would strip down trailers and campers for brands to use for mobile marketing and acquired lots of expensive RV parts. I have a brand-new toilet, and a barely used 5-gal water heater that is the exact same size to fit the existing location of the dolphin. As I mentioned I have all of the original parts/equipment. Which all worked when I started the disassembly. Onan generator, heater, electric power station, air conditioner. I also have lots of new upgrades. LED exterior running lights, updated LED interior dome lights. I actually bought a second Dolphin and stripped it for parts, So I even have several extra windows, extra sink, oven vent hood, etc. I kept the brake booster from the other Dolphin as I know those can be difficult to find and replace. I have 2.5″ beetle kill pine for the new flooring that is included. Beetle kill pine is a beautiful wood with blue streaks through it caused by the infectious beetle. The 85 dolphin has the RE (fuel injected motor and the dual bearing rear 1-ton axle). My plan was never to sell this so I have far more money and time invested than I know I will be able to sell it for. This is a great deal for anyone looking to do their own flip for an incredible and rare RV for many years to come. Contact me if interested and I can email you photos
